Section 1:

Focusing on Japanese-Canadian families in the pre-war era.

This is the first in a series of exhibitions that primarily uses oral history to showcase the hardships experienced by the first generation of Japanese immigrants before the war and the harsh circumstances that drastically changed after the war.

Section 2:

Focused KJCA activities spanning a half century

This document summarizes the process by which Japanese Canadian gathered in Kamloops to build the KJCA (Kamloops Japanese Canadian Association) as it exists today.
