My Sixty Years in Canada by Dr. M. Miyazaki
An autobiography of Dr. Miyazaki, locally known as Betty Inouye’s father, who came to Canada at the age of 13 and became a doctor before the World War II. He served as one of only a few Japanese Canadian doctors in the internment camps and later practiced medicine in Lillooet. The book is full of interesting Japanese Canadian history pre-war time to post-war period.

After the first 5,000 copies sold out, a New Revised Edition was released in 2000, expanded with 30 additional recipes. This unique collection of traditional Japanese dishes and Canadian Japanese favourites was gathered from the members and friends of the Kamloops Japanese Canadian Association and serves to preserve our cultural heritage for future generations.
